Tieli Railway Station of Northernmost High Speed Rail in China Begins Operation: CCTV
The Tieli Railway Station, the first station of the Harbin-Yichun High Speed Railway, the northernmost high speed rail under construction in China, has officially opened. The station's area has doubled, allowing it to accommodate 1,000 passengers. There are nine high speed railway stations planned along the route, and once completed, travel time between Harbin and Yichun will be reduced from seven hours to approximately two hours.
