Currently, the CRE train passing through the Erenhot Railway Port can reach more than 60 regions in over 10 countries, including Germany, Poland, Russia and Belarus. Domestically, it covers most of the cities that are the starting points for CRE trains. The freight sources come from more than 10 provinces and cities, including Tianjin, Anhui, Hunan and Sichuan. The number of operational routes has increased from 2 in 2013 to 71 today. The types of goods transported have shifted from metals, chemical products and clothing in primary stage to predominantly domestic automobiles and home appliances, with a clear trend toward high-value-added and high-tech products.
