During the Spring Festival, the railway sector leveraged the advantages of the world's largest high speed railway network and advanced rail system, increasing transport capacity. Seat availability grew by 8.4% year-on-year, and passenger transport capacity reached an all-time high for the Spring Festival.

　　In addition, the railway sector made full use of major freight corridors such as Datong-Qinhuangdao Railway, Watang-Rizhao Railway, Haolebaoji-Ji'an Railway and Lanzhou-Xinjiang Railway, ensuring the transportation of key materials. The national rail system averaged 171,600 carloads per day, providing strong support for the stable operation of the national economy and ensuring that people had a warm winter.
